Ecobabystore respects your privacy. We will not sell or give away any client information for any reason whatsoever. We use your information as a means to contact you and you alone. When you choose to provide us with personal information, you can be sure that it will only be used to support your customer relationship with us.
Ecobabystore uses information it collects about customers specifically for the registration of product ownership, and provision of warranty service and technical support. This information is also helpful to us so that we can understand customer needs and provide better services. From time to time we might contact you for market research, or to provide you with market or product information which we think will be of interest to you. At each contact we will give you the opportunity to chose whether you wish to receive further direct communication from us. We strive to keep information accurate and you will have access to your personal information so that you can update or correct it.
Ecobabystore will not sell, rent or lease your personal information to any 3rd party.
Ecobabystore places all appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures in place to safeguard the security of your information.
Currently, all New Zealand orders are shipped through Fastway Couriers.
As we are based in the South Island our freight charges are as follows.
Deliveries are made Monday through Friday only. Saturday deliveries are available on request.
All items nationwide we will endeavour to put on overnight courier on confirmation of payment. However may take between 2 and 4 days in some cases. Please check your track and trace number on your email receipt to find out when your parcel will be delivered.
We charge a flat rate of $6 postage and handling for all purchases.
Please note that a very small number of orders require extra processing time for various reasons. Those will be shipped the following business day.
If you have ordered an item that is out-of-stock or sold-out, we will attempt to contact you immediately. Kindly understand that a delay may also occur if your credit card was declined or for address verification if you're billing address was entered incorrectly.
PLEASE NOTE: Rural and some residential areas may require an additional day(s) delivery time.
Our last courier is 12pm. Orders received before 11am will be sent on that day. Orders received after 11am will be sent on the next working day.
We are delighted to receive international orders and understand the value for money when purchasing in NZ dollars, however request that you email us with your order at tyreena@ecobabystore.co.nz so we can organize a quote for the freight. Your order will not be processed until we receive a reply email from you confirming you accept the postage charges which will then be charged accordingly. If you do not receive an email reply within 5 working days, please contact us at tyreena@ecobabystore.co.nz to confirm your order status. All orders are sent by Airmail (6-12 working days). Any additional taxes or duties that are incurred within the recipients/buyers country are the responsibility of the buyer/recipient your confirmation go ahead with the order.
Shipping charges for orders outside of New Zealand will be quoted individually by email. Please place your order as usual and you will be notified via email with the cost of postage. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase upon receipt, please follow these procedures to ensure a prompt refund, replacement, or credit.
1. Using a good carton, return package via insured Fastway Couriers or other Parcel Carrier of your choice.
2. Complete the returns form on the back of your packing slip. If you do not have your packing slip, please include a note stating purchaser's name, address and approximate date of purchase.
3. Send returns to:

Every item Ecobaby Store ltd carries is covered by a warranty from the individual manufacturers. Generally, warranties cover defects in materials and workmanship. Damage from abuse and or neglect or accidents are not covered under any warranty. It is at the sole discretion of the manufacturer to repair or replace defective merchandise.
Labor and shipping are not covered under any warranty.
Ecobaby Store Ltd will extend to its customers any manufacturer's warranty on merchandise we sell but, otherwise, we make no warranty, express or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose of the merchandise in our catalogues.
Since each manufacturer has different warranty procedures, contact tyreena@ecobabystore.co.nz and we'll help get your warranty issue taken care of.
Ecobaby Store Ltd shall not be responsible for the proper use of the merchandise sold and the customer is urged to exercise caution and take all necessary safety measures in using the merchandise.

Under the consumers guarantees act Ecobaby Store LTD and our suppliers guarantee our goods will:
If you as the customer don't think we have met these requirements you are entitled to a full refund of the purchase price.
Refunds are available within 30 days of product purchase by submitting a refund request form available by contacting tyreena@ecobabystore.co.nz .Whenever we receive a refund request, we notify the product suppliers to give them an opportunity to resolve the dispute (see disputes policy below) Refund requests that have not been resolved within two (2) weeks are processed; and, for credit card purchases, the refund appears on the buyer's next credit card statement.
For physical goods, follow the steps in our returns policy (as above) to determine how the goods must be returned. Physical goods must be returned for a refund to be completed.
Ecobaby Store LTD encourages an open dialog between all customers and our employees. In the event of a dispute between Ecobaby Store LTD and a customer the following dispute resolution policy shall be followed.
Step #1: An open dialog between the customer and Ecobaby Store staff shall take place in the hope of finding a quick and mutually acceptable solution to the dispute.
Step #2: In the event that step #1 is not successful a meeting shall be convened between the customer and the Director of Ecobaby Store LTD in the hope of finding a mutually acceptable solution to the dispute. (This will take place within 1 week after the unsuccessful attempt outlined in step #1.)
Step #3: If step #2 proves to be unsuccessful the customer shall submit in writing their complaint and the Director of Ecobaby Store LTD shall respond in writing outlining solutions to the dispute. (This will take place within 5 work days of receiving the letter.)
Step #4: If the dispute remains unresolved after step #3 the customer may choose to ask for mediation. The cost will be spilt between Ecobaby Store LTD and the customer. The mediator must be impartial and mediation shall take place at the earliest date possible once a mediator has been identified.
